• Become knowledgeable of all product lines.
• Understand customer jobs, projects, specifications and requirements.
• Provide top‑notch customer service, maintain a constant flow of information to all parties, and build relationships with customers.
• Gather required information from the job and the contractor or consultant; verify via email or telephone if there are discrepancies.
• Conduct research to obtain data on optional equipment and engineering requirements.
• Use software for estimating options, selections and estimate creation.
• Obtain and review offers and quotes from other contractors.
• Create and submit estimate reports to the sales management team.
• Schedule and manage project timelines and ensure all obligations are fulfilled while meeting desired deadlines requested by customers and supervisor.
• Interface with key engineering and technical staff to ensure estimates meet customer and specification requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience with certification may be substituted.
• Relevant experience as an Estimator or similar position in the elevator, manufacturing or a related industry preferred.
• 2+ years working in a Sales environment.
• Experience utilizing CPQ, ERP or estimating software considered a strong asset.
• Strong ability to read and interpret project drawings, specifications and scope of work requirements to prepare detailed and accurate quotations.
• Familiarity with elevator products or similar construction equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments, outside sales representatives and customers to ensure successful outcomes.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Salary for New York City‑based applicants: $60,000–$67,000 (actual compensation determined based on experience, location and local legislation).
