About the Role

As Partnerships Assistant, you will support the Partnerships team in securing and delivering sponsor ships across our US fairs:
Frieze Los Angeles, Frieze New York, EXPO Chicago and The Armory Show. This includes partner management in the lead up to and during events, as well as supporting the team with their sales efforts. Frieze is the leading global organization for art and culture, producing internationally acclaimed fairs in London, New York, Los Angeles, Seoul and Abu Dhabi, alongside Frieze Masters, The Armory Show and EXPO Chicago, as well as a year-round programme of editorial, events and partnerships.

This is an entry level commercial and operational role at the heart of the Commercial Department’s growth in New York. You’ll sit within the US Partnerships team, working closely with the Head of Partnerships, US and Account Managers, and your work will have direct impact on commercial efforts and partner management. You will be an excellent communicator and highly organised, with a focus on quality execution and delivery.

This is a full-time and qualified candidates must be based in New York. You’ll be part of a hybrid team that values both connection and flexibility. We’ll cover the details of our hybrid schedule during the interview process.

The salary range for this role is: $65,000

What Success Looks Like
  • The team is supported in their efforts to secure new sponsors across our US fairs and to deliver partnerships at the highest quality
  • Sponsors have positive feedback on their experience working with Frieze’s US fairs, and look to renew as a result
  • The team is highly organised, both in terms of outreach, execution and reporting
What You’ll Own Client Management
  • Support the team to build strong relationships with new and existing partners
  • Liaise with other teams internally at Frieze to plan and execute sponsor activations at the fairs and deliver against contractual benefits
  • Coordinate projects and events at the fairs related to sponsors
  • Plan, schedule and deliver marketing, PR, advertising and social media campaigns for partners
  • Prepare post-event reports showing the results of the partnership. Work closely with internal teams to gather data from digital, marketing, press, social media, VIP and programming teams.
  • Support Partnerships team with delivery of selected sponsors for the fair
  • Support mangers in building sponsorship pitch proposals for clients to win new business
  • Liasie with finance team to ensure that partners are invoiced in a timely manner
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain internal databases and pipelines to ensure that partner information and key deadlines are up to date and easily accessible for the team
  • Support in generating new business through market research and identifying a pipeline of prospects
