The FIS Securities Processing division has an extensive roadmap for changes to its Clearing and Settlement functions, including adoption of industry initiatives, major product enhancements across different regions, and ongoing maintenance of current features. We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join us and operate within an Agile framework.
Responsibilities- Work closely with Product manager/owner, Development and test teams throughout software development life cycle to analyze and agree solutions, ensuring that they are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and analyze the impact on the application for introduction of new product features.
- Liaise with other internal Product and Development teams to ensure that cross requirements are captured and documented as appropriate.
- Produce required change documentation (e.g., use cases, acceptance criteria, specifications) outlining the requirements.
- Create, maintain and update product features specifications as required.
- Work with Professional services and Implementations teams as needed.
- Participate in Business Process Reviews (BPRs) for new and existing clients.
- 5+ years of experience in financial services industry, as a business analyst or product owner, preferably in back‑office securities operations or broker‑dealer operations.
- Proven experience with different North American market infrastructures and facilities with a focus on securities processing back‑office functions (e.g., DTC, CDS, NSCC, FICC, BONY, FED).
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the securities industry flows, especially around SWIFT MT/MX messaging in the context of trading clearing and settlement.
- Ability to read and interpret interface specifications.
- Ability to interpret broad industry initiatives into detailed format requirements.
- Proven ability to research, analyze and generate scope and business requirements documents.
- Strong presentation and product demonstration skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines.
- Must be responsible, dedicated, self‑motivated and dependable.

- Bonus:
Knowledge of FIS Securities Processing operations. - Knowledge and practice of Agile Methodology.
- General understanding of user experience constructs.
- Knowledge of additional messaging protocols including FIX, Bloomberg XML.
- Knowledge of Central counter party flows and processes.
- Knowledge of European and Asian Settlement flows.

Pay and CompensationThe pay range for this full‑time position is $98,200.00 – $ and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.
