Demand Planning Intern

Summary

Support demand planning activities for the North America sales channel, ensuring service level targets and forecast accuracy. Based in the NYC office, the intern will assist the planning team with data analysis, forecasting models, and S&OP coordination. The role works closely with regional sales and key account teams to inform forecasts and inventory decisions.

• Support the setup, implementation, and continuous improvement of planning processes, workflows, and tools.
• Analyze historical sales data, customer assortments, and prepare forecast inputs with recommendations based on buying patterns and promotions.
• Assist in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of statistical forecasting models aligned with global planning strategy.
• Support the Global S&OP process by coordinating regional data collection, analysis, and timely submission to HQ.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales to identify and resolve gaps between sales forecasts and demand plans.
• Maintain and enhance reporting tools to monitor key planning KPIs and support service level improvement and inventory optimization.

• Degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Understanding of the luxury fashion category and strong interpersonal skills to build cross-functional relationships.
