Team Overview
The Supervisor role will report to the Associate Director and will be a part of the Local Video Investment Team, ensuring a thorough understanding of and a pulse on the media landscape, making smart investments with media partners, negotiating mutually favorable terms, and planning and executing client media buys that best deliver on their business and marketing objectives.

The expectations for this role fall into 3 key categories:
- Developing Teams & Talent
- Oversee and support training efforts of Negotiators and Associates and progress them in their roles.
- Review and support goals of Negotiators.
- Delivering on Our Value Proposition
- Develop and maintain strong partner relationships and contribute to communicating client needs to the partnerships team.
- Own negotiations for assigned clients and campaigns.
- Lead holding vendors accountable to APEX standards.
- First point of escalation for campaign issues with partners.
- Identify new opportunities and partnerships that support overall client needs.
- Establish partner relationships across the industry.
- Oversee day‑to‑day team negotiations.
- Supervise decisions across the team to shift media.
- Managing Business & Operations
- Understand both strategy and activation and manage across a high level.
- Oversee campaign lifecycle ensuring a smooth, error‑free process and service on key accounts.
- Last Touch QA for Negotiators.
- Understand end‑to‑end billing process and manage timely reconciliation and approvals for the team.
- Own the full process for high‑level account(s).
- Contribute to discrepancy resolution for assigned clients and campaigns.
- Ensure Salesforce is accurate and up‑to‑date for all opportunities for accounts with oversight.
Oversee usage of tools and team input to ensure data accuracy for reporting, etc.
Qualifications Technical Skill RequirementsWe value diversity of thought and experiences at APEX! If you learned about media from the sales or agency side, that’s great but we do need folks with a basic level of understanding of how media investment works.
- 4‑7 years of experience with a basic knowledge of media is critical for success in this role.
- Diverse backgrounds and experience are welcome, including Agency Planning/Investment, Media Sales, Consulting, and/or Media Client Side.
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office Suite (must be proficient in Excel).
- Strong media financial acumen is mandatory.
- Business financial acumen is preferred.
- Basic understanding of the media landscape.
- Credible, courageous and persuasive.
- Displays a growth mindset to go beyond their own remit.
- Takes accountability when things go wrong.
- Empowers others, giving them space and authority in their roles.
- Gives recognition when individuals deliver or take risks.

Compensation Range: $75,050.00 - $ annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
