Overview
Manager, Product Manager‑Family CX, Teen Checking Product Management at Capital One is a role that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. The Position is part of the Multi‑User Experience & Family CX team, created to unlock differentiated experiences for families managing shared finances. This role focuses on building collaborative banking solutions for our core Teen segment, helping teens learn to spend, save, and manage money while balancing the needs of their parents.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for the Teen Checking product, from concept through launch.
- Apply the five foundational Product Management pillars:
- Human Centered – obsess about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions.
- Business Focused – deliver game‑changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellence.
- Technology Driven – leverage technology to deliver innovative, resilient solutions that enable both near‑term and long‑term value.
- Integrated Problem Solving – identify and resolve complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating risks.
- Transformational Leadership – lead cross‑functional teams to solve customer problems and drive alignment.
- Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and business analysts to redefine how families interact with their money and each other.
- At least 3 years of experience in Product Management.
- Currently holds, or is in the process of obtaining, one of the following degrees before the scheduled start date:
- BA or BS in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems).
- MA or MS in a quantitative field (same fields as above).
- MBA with a quantitative concentration.
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer‑facing digital products.
- Strong understanding of consumer banking and family finance contexts.
Minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role vary by location:
– McLean, VA: $164,800 – $188,100
– New York, NY: $179,700 – $205,100
– Philadelphia, PA: $149,800 – $171,000
– Richmond, VA: $149,800 – $171,000
– Wilmington, DE: $149,800 – $171,000.
The role is also eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
