YOUR ROLE

CEVA is currently hiring a Business Development Director. The Director will act as subject matter expert, responsible for securing new Contract Logistics business through a targeted and clearly defined sales approach for new clients across and aligned with specific verticals throughout North America. CEVA’s Contract Logistics division is focused on designing and operating complex supply chain solutions including dedicated and multi-client warehouse & e‑Commerce fulfilment operations, and dedicated and managed transportation solutions in the Consumer & E‑commerce verticals.

The successful candidate will craft account strategies, build customer relationships, support the development of best practice solutions, and present these to potential customers. The Director will work internally to align stakeholders, ensure timely RFP/RFQ response communications, deliver sales presentations, and support post‑award onboarding.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders across CEVA North America and other CEVA clusters to develop compelling and integrated supply chain solutions for large‑scale dedicated & multi‑client, single and multi‑warehouse, and dedicated and managed transportation solutions.
  • Develop and implement sales plans and campaigns to capture market opportunities.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to create industry solutions that exceed customer objectives, increasing profit and service.
  • Generate sales leads and network with MNCs and large North America‑based companies within the assigned market vertical.
  • Maintain lead and opportunity pipelines to drive budgeted top‑line growth.
  • Use C‑View (CEVA CRM) to manage accounts, contacts, and opportunities on time.
  • Build trust‑based relationships with potential customers to become their preferred Lead Logistics Provider.
  • Prepare and present compelling, commercially creative proposals within clients’ time frames.
  • Secure new Contract Logistics business that meets or exceeds annual revenue targets.
  • Follow business development best practice processes and support contractual negotiations that protect CEVA’s commercial and risk position.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing or a technical field.
  • 7+ years’ contract logistics sales experience at a tier 1 3PL.
  • Hunter mentality with proven success in targeting supply chain leaders from large MNCs.
  • Multi‑year experience with companies in Consumer & Retail, Technology, Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace or Healthcare.
  • Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
  • Highly motivated and results‑oriented.
  • Experience developing and implementing broad sales and business programs.
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Experience working with executive management.
  • Ability to develop and monitor budgets.
  • Consultation and advice on overall business strategies.
  • Integration of global sales, product development, and business strategies.
  • Research analysis and decision‑making skills.
  • Understanding of marketing, R&D, manufacturing, and related functions.
  • PC skills:
    Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more.
