What you’ll do in the role:
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is seeking an Analyst, Sales in New York, New York to engage with major U.S. and global hedge funds to drive high-value transactions through research engagement, corporate access facilitation, and catalyzing opportunistic trading flows. Integrate proprietary systems and cross-office insights to optimize client solutions and market strategies. Support strategic initiatives aimed at expanding Morgan Stanley’s market share and enhancing overall sales execution.
Strengthen and maintain connectivity between US and London operations to foster continuous innovation and competitive differentiation. Create detailed market content notes to distribute to applicable clients and drive U.S. based client engagement. Manage account coverage and advisory efforts for clients in the U.S. Foster relationships with key decision makers, CIO’s, portfolio managers, and investment analysts to assist in their capital allocation process.
Ensure equity sales products are available for clients when appropriate.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field of study.
- Two (2) years of experience in the position offered or as an Analyst, or a closely related occupation.
- Two (2) years of experience with the following skills: equity market analysis; financial modeling and valuation techniques; market microstructure; institutional client relationship management; cross-office global collaboration; market commentary preparation; corporate access coordination; client coverage and pipeline management;
Bloomberg Terminal; customer relationship management systems including Client Manager; institutional pricing and analytics systems; cross-asset investment insight integration; regulatory and compliance; and supporting strategic sales initiatives.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
