Do you have experience in administration in a health‑related facility? Rockland Children's Psychiatric Center (RCPC) is recruiting for a Health Facility Management Assistant to assist in the review and evaluation of support service systems and administrative practices and procedures. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.
Responsibilities- Gather and analyze data to determine the performance and effectiveness of facility support services and administrative procedures.
- Gather information from internal and external audits and reports.
- Identify problems and forecast future issues or facility needs.
- Prepare survey summaries and analysis reports.
- Make recommendations based on findings.
- Assist with facility budget preparation and monitoring activities.
- Six (6) years of experience in the administration of a health‑related facility, which includes work in human resources, business, or finance offices, quality management, or functioning as the administrator of a health‑related facility. Experience must include collecting and analyzing administrative data to assess efficiency of program operations and performance, developing internal controls, recommending changes, and reviewing and updating facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance with agency, facility, and regulatory requirements.
- Substitution:
An associate degree may substitute for two years of experience; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of experience; a master’s degree may substitute for five years of experience; and a doctorate may substitute for six years of experience. - Alternative routes:
Candidates may be considered under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (HELPS) program if eligible; competitive class appointment if eligible under Professional Career Opportunities – Select Titles list or with one year of permanent competitive or 55‑b/55‑c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
