Location: New York

Coda Search is partnering with a global asset management firm with offices in NYC. The team is seeking to hire a professional for its Business Transformation practice, where they will drive and execute strategic initiatives. The person will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives, including new fund launches, investment strategy expansions, office openings, operating model enhancements, technology implementations, and business processes.

This role requires a unique blend of project management expertise, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and financial services experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end execution of high-priority strategic initiatives sponsored by executive leadership
  • Develop project plans, governance frameworks, timelines, milestones, and communication strategies to ensure successful delivery
  • Manage the launch of new investment vehicles, strategies, and product offerings across public and private markets
  • Track launch progress and ensure alignment across all stakeholders
  • Support strategic growth initiatives, including new market entry, office openings, acquisitions, integrations, and platform expansions
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and risk management across business functions
  • Lead process redesign initiatives leveraging automation, workflow optimization, and technology solutions
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure transformation success and business impact
  • Support annual strategic planning and long-term business transformation initiatives
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 6+ years of experience in asset management, alternatives, management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, project management, or operational leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation
  • Background within an asset manager, private equity firm, hedge fund, credit manager, sovereign wealth fund, consulting firm, or financial services organization
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, change management frameworks, and transformation programs
  • PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications are a plus
