Recovering surgery patients, expectant mothers, physically challenged individuals, veterans and car accident victims may all have a difficult time caring for themselves in the home.
Position Qualifications- Proven work experience as a Bursar Coordinator for a minimum of 2 years or 2 years experience as a bookkeeper.
- Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular), Quick Books or other accounting system.
- Strong financial management skills.
- Knowledge of accounting procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with budget preparation and cash flow management.
- Solid time management skills with an ability to prioritize work.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.
- HS diploma/GED required.
- Oversee day-to-day cash management.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Submit delinquent accounts to collection.
- Keep organized books of tuition fees and files of receipts.
- Process student refunds as per refund policy.
- Process students' tuition, books, uniforms and other supplies ensure that students pay tuition timely.
- Work with the accountant to review payments.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies.
- Fax and scan documents.
- Attend meetings and other campus events.
- Communicate with other departments.
- Provide reports to administrators and other government agencies.
- Liaise with local authorities and school Governors.
- Answer the phone and transfer calls.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
