About the Role:We are seeking a Head of Industrials to lead Axion’s business in the Industrials sector. This individual will own the vertical’s commercial outcomes, driving new customer acquisition, deepening enterprise partnerships, and ensuring deployments that translate AI insights into measurable product quality and reliability improvements.
This leader will act as the business owner for Axion’s Industrials footprint, defining how we engage with industrial manufacturers and shaping the commercial and operational model that supports them. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic consulting experience, vertical expertise, and a track record of building and scaling complex B2B relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Expand Axion’s Industrials footprint by designing and executing a high-impact go-to-market strategy.
- Drive enterprise growth through new customer acquisition and deep relationship management.
- Lead a pod of Engagement and Solutions professionals, fostering performance, ownership, and cross-functional alignment.
- Serve as commercial owner for the Industrials vertical, accountable for revenue, delivery quality, and customer success.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap priorities and deliver differentiated solutions.
- Represent Axion externally as a thought leader and trusted partner to senior Industrials executives.
- 10+ years of experience in go-to-market, solutions, or commercial leadership within industrials, aerospace, defense, or adjacent manufacturing sectors.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver business outcomes across complex enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of the industrial manufacturing value chain—from design and production to quality control and operational performance.
- Strategic, analytical, and execution-oriented; thrives in high-growth, fast-moving environments.
- Motivated by impact, ownership, and building category-defining products.
You’re a builder and operator who thrives in fast-moving, high-accountability environments. You take pride in getting things done — thoughtfully, efficiently, and without drama. You’re energized by ambiguity, skilled at bringing clarity, and comfortable flexing between strategy and execution.
You value feedback — giving it, receiving it, and acting on it — and you see collaboration as a competitive advantage, not a burden. You’re low-ego but high-agency: you care about winning as a team more than being right individually. You move quickly, communicate directly, and make decisions grounded in impact and data.
You don’t need constant direction — you create momentum. You take ownership for outcomes, and you expect the same from those around you.
How We Operate:We move fast, work smart, and hold ourselves to a high bar. Axion isn’t a 9–5 — it’s a place for people who take pride in their craft and are motivated by meaningful work. We respect time off and boundaries, but we’re also realistic: hard problems sometimes require weekend pushes or late-night thinking sessions. We support that balance — intensity with respect for recharge.
