Business Analyst

Summary

Reporting to the FP&A Director, the Business Analyst provides detailed oversight of retail and wholesale sales, KPIs and performance metrics across the Americas. The role delivers daily, weekly, monthly and year‑to‑date reporting, conducts ad hoc analysis and prepares recaps for executive store visits. The analyst also supports month‑end and year‑end closing processes and partners on budgeting and forecasting for retail sales by channel and country.

• Support Balenciaga Americas (including USA, Canada, Mexico and Brazil) on sales reporting and KPI tracking.
• Produce Daily, Weekly, Monthly and YTD sales and KPI reports and set daily sales targets for stores and HQ.
• Proactively review retail KPIs (conversion, traffic, product category performance, CS, UPT) and explain variances to management.
• Perform ad hoc analyses such as sales density, productivity per sqft and POS competitor benchmarking.
• Prepare sales and KPI recaps for executive store visits and maintain monthly store network reports for HQ submission.
• Support monthly, half‑year and year‑end closing processes and run retail and wholesale reporting packages for submission to HQ.
• Submit sales by channel and by country in HFM and collaborate with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting; MBA a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within Retail or Consumer Goods.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with HFM and SAP; familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical rigor, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working under pressure and maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.
