This position is with the RLCS Replacement Components (RC) business and is responsible for executing various complex product management responsibilities for several categories of HVAC products (e.g. compressors and air conditioning/refrigeration components). The role is responsible for products across all channels and brands that RC offers, including Factory Authorized Parts, Fast OEM, and Totaline aftermarket parts. The focus will be on driving growth in sales to distribution and delivering on profitability goals.

- Prepare business opportunity plans in support of potential new business and utilize the Passport review process to gain business unit approvals. Execute the tasks associated with the plan, including sales and product forecasts, pricing, negotiations, and execution of market strategy.
- Provide and analyze sales reports by customers.
- Assist with new product introductions based on market demand and business opportunities, including project management of a cross‑functional team.
- Manage current product offerings for select product categories, including pricing, bulk master carton packaging, product logistics, and inventory reviews (assist with last‑time buys, obsolete and excess, etc.).
- Provide product information, and legally approved product claims to support the preparation of marketing materials. Provide support for product videos or online learning module script development and review.
- Support the RC Parts Information Management (PIM) process to ensure we have electronic PIM data to be used in e‑commerce.
- Support the RC Sales Force by addressing customer requirements and building product and brand dedication with RC’s customers.
- Conduct product training sessions at customer training events for 50‑150 attendees.
- Support distributor events such as open houses and trade shows to discuss and demo products.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Assist with quarterly standard cost and price updates, and review and recommend price modifications.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in product management/marketing
- MA/MS degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical discipline OR equivalent years of experience and 3+ years of product management/marketing experience
- Knowledge of the HVAC/R industry
- Replacement service parts (compressors) are desired.
- Use or knowledge of RC systems (C-10, EPIC/EPMS, Sales Force) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), strong Access to database skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact and collaborate with a cross‑fictional team of Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, Marketing, Training, and Sales associates
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, self‑initiative, and sense of ownership
- Willingness to learn and a flexible approach is a must
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
- Excellent follow‑up and follow‑through skills
