The Global Procurement team at WMG is in its early stages, and this role is foundational. We’re a new department with a mandate to build a modern, strategic function that supports WMG’s creative vision and operational goals. You will not only join a team; you’ll help shape its creation and make a lasting impact on how we do business across the company.
Your role :This is a rare opportunity to be a builder at a world‑class music company. Your role isn’t just about managing contracts; it’s about driving value through analytical skills and process improvement across departments such as Supply Chain, Facility Management, and Marketing. The position is highly visible and directly impacts WMG’s efficiency and profitability.
Here you’ll get to:- Implement the foundation of a new procurement department, establishing best practices and key strategies.
- Lead the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle for your projects.
- Proactively manage a portfolio of multi‑million‑dollar contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
- Conduct detailed spend analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Enhance procurement processes and workflows to improve efficiency across the organization.
- Lead RFP, RFQ processes and participate in supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Partner with business leaders across WMG to align on their needs and drive strategic outcomes.
- Utilize SAP and Ariba to manage core procurement activities.
- At least 5 years of experience in indirect procurement.
- Proven track record of managing multi‑million‑dollar contracts.
- Strong experience with both SAP and Ariba.
- Extremely detail‑oriented with a sharp eye for contract review.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel for financial and data analysis.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Experience in the music or entertainment industry.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- A professional certification such as CPM or CIPS.

Salary Range$100,000 to $115,000 annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
