About the Role

FTI’s Healthcare practice seeks a seasoned professional with management experience and hands‑on expertise in operational and financial process improvement in the healthcare provider sector. As a Senior Director, you will leverage your consulting background and/or industry expertise to manage the daily activities of high‑performing interdisciplinary teams, develop dynamic analytical, financial and operational solutions for our clients, and be accountable for project scope and timely outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day‑to‑day activities of projects, interacting with client C‑suite executives and FTI team members.
  • Communicate a high level of understanding of healthcare operations benchmarks and strategies.
  • Work with Senior Managing Directors and Managing Directors to identify project goals, provide guidance to a project team, and prepare deliverables.
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative skills to engagements and integrate information from multiple sources to reach optimal solutions.
  • Articulate findings to counsel the client and support strategic planning for ongoing engagements.
  • Maintain detailed work‑paper records of assumptions, methodologies and information sources during analytical tasks.
  • Use relational database programs (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Access) and FTI tools and templates to assess and quantify analytic focus areas within the healthcare industry.
  • Deliver a quality work product within established time frames and assist in the management of project budgets.
  • Apply quality‑control and assurance methods to all work product.
  • Manage and coach Consultants and Senior Consultants, and provide guidance to develop future talent.
  • Assist with internal practice‑development activities as directed.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business/quantitative field (finance, accounting, economics, management, information systems).
  • 5+ years of relevant post‑graduate professional experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in an operations leadership position.
  • Experience working in professional services consulting (e.g., litigation and/or disputes consulting, operational and/or compliance consulting).
  • Project management experience.
  • Analytics experience.
  • Ability to travel to client sites and FTI offices as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree.
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP or other project‑management certification.
Compensation

Minimum Pay: $154,500. Maximum Pay: $302,000. The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual’s location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
