Overview

Sullivan Healthcare Consulting is a team of seasoned, leading edge perioperative experts who help healthcare organizations manage to higher margins by optimizing surgical services. The SHC process is simple: assess and benchmark all perioperative services and their interdependencies, clearly identify what isn’t working, build consensus for a best-practice based solution, and help all stakeholders work together to correct it.

Operational Leadership

Lead daily operations across multiple ASCs to ensure consistent service standards and efficiency. Implement policies, standardized workflows, and best practices. Monitor and improve key metrics: patient throughput, on‑time starts, turnover times, case volumes, and overall efficiency.

Financial & Business Management

Own regional P&L performance and drive revenue growth and margin optimization. Review financials with ASC administrators and identify improvement opportunities. Lead budgeting, capital planning, and multi‑year strategic initiatives.

Clinical Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with DOH, CMS, AAAHC/Joint Commission, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory bodies. Partner with clinical leaders to uphold patient safety, quality, and infection prevention standards. Track quality indicators and lead continuous improvement efforts.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field preferred. Must meet E‑Verify eligibility requirements.

• 7–10+ years of progressive leadership in ASC operations or perioperative services. Proven experience overseeing multiple sites or complex surgical environments.

• Strong understanding of ASC regulatory requirements and clinical workflows. Excellent leadership, financial management, communication, and relationship‑building skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, highly regulated urban healthcare market. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and the ability to learn additional systems as required.

Work Schedule & Travel

Full‑time;
Monday–Friday business hours with occasional additional time as needed. Local travel across the NYC region required.

Disclosures

Smoking/vaping and the use of tobacco products are prohibited on all Company premises, including indoor and outdoor areas, parking lots, and Company‑owned vehicles. As part of our employment process, candidates who receive a conditional offer may be required to undergo pre‑employment drug testing.
