The Nasdaq Market Site Events Team role supports and collaborates with our business partners internally to manage and execute listed and newly listed company and client events and meetings in our Client Experience Center.
This role will have a strong focus on providing tactical support of management and execution of day-to-day workflow, project management, and technologies for successful event operations, along with supporting daily Opening and Closing bell ceremonies across a wide range of clients situated globally, located in the heart of Times Square.

Hybrid work arrangement: This position is a hybrid role (4 days a week in office, effective after the initial 90-days onboarding period; during onboarding, 5-days in office will be required).
Responsibilities- Business Operations (70%)
- Be the subject matter expert and owner of the Event Management System including development (in partnership with IT), enhancements, maintenance, administration of training users, and tool effectiveness
- Manage all client (internal and external) event space reservations and bell requests via the Event Management System
- Develop weekly reports shared across the business on bells and events
- Coordinate and secure weekly assigned bell hosts with Listings Team
- Manage team’s project management boards for maintenance and enhancements
- Manage and track all budget, billing, inventory, expenses, estimation of resource requirements, and cost considerations
- Provide analysis and reporting metrics around all events monthly
- Manage internal tools to centralize communications to the business
- Resolve operational issues, documenting problems, and finding long-term solutions
- Implement technology changes and operating procedures where appropriate to improve efficiency
- Help to identify gaps and/or opportunities, driving efficiencies
- Implement and maintain event SOPs
- Create and proof Tower Slides
- Order, track, and ship client gifts
- Liaise with various vendors to identify unique opportunistic ways to market and generate awareness of the Market Site and grow sales revenue
- Support Head of Market Site Events with ad-hoc special projects
- Proactively taking on new, impactful initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learning
- Event Operations (30%)
- Greet all bell ceremony and VIP guests with a warm welcome upon arrival
- Supporting Event Planners in the daily execution of live broadcasted Opening & Closing Bell ceremonies at the Market Site
- Supporting Event Producers in the execution of first trade ceremonies for IPO clients
- Check all meeting rooms & event spaces at start of day
- Plan and execute meeting requests in the event space
- Demonstrate superior customer service to all clients
- Support bookings of Market Site Opening/Closing bell ceremonies that become available with short notice, taking a proactive stance to identify timely events worldwide with 24-48 hours notice
- Act as a liaison with other departments within the organization for information sharing and event awareness
- Execute client photo opp & bell viewings
- Check and prep all event meeting space
- Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree, preferred in communications, marketing, or hospitality - Experience
