ABOUT THRESH

Thresh Consulting is a modern digital consulting firm built for the AI era—where strategy, execution, and craft come together to deliver real outcomes with speed. Our specialty is helping organizations design, build, and scale digital products that create exceptional customer experiences and drive value.

At Thresh, our strategy teams connect executive‑level vision to actionable growth. We help client leaders navigate ambiguity, frame complex problems, and build the case for bold decisions—through rigorous thinking and world‑class communication.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Digital Strategy Consultant is an early‑to‑mid career role for someone who thinks in frameworks, writes with precision, and communicates with impact. You will own strategy work streams end‑to‑end— from structuring ambiguous problems to delivering polished, executive‑ready recommendations.

This role is designed for a “strategic storyteller”—someone who is as comfortable synthesizing a market landscape as they are designing the slide that makes a C‑suite audience act. You will work closely with senior strategy leaders to shape client narratives, lead key analyses, and produce the high‑quality deliverables that define how Thresh shows up in the room.

WHAT YOU’LL DO CLIENT ENGAGEMENT & ADVISORY
  • Strategy Workstream Ownership:
Lead defined strategy work streams from problem framing through final recommendation, maintaining accountability for quality and timelines.
  • Problem Structuring:
Break down ambiguous client challenges into structured issue trees and hypotheses. Define the analytical approach and ensure the work answers the right question.
  • Stakeholder Management:
Build trusted relationships with day‑to‑day client contacts. Facilitate working sessions and interviews to surface insights and align on strategic direction.
RESEARCH & ANALYSIS
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence:
Conduct in‑depth primary and secondary research to map competitive landscapes, identify white space, and pressure‑test strategic assumptions.
  • Insight Synthesis:
Transform data, interviews, and secondary research into clear strategic insights—separating signal from noise and identifying the “so what” that drives recommendations.
  • Business Case Development:
Build financial models, growth projections, and ROI frameworks that quantify the value of strategic options and support executive decision‑making.
EXECUTIVE STORYTELLING & CONTENT CREATION
  • Deck Craft:
Own the design and development of consulting‑grade PowerPoint deliverables—from early‑stage storyboards through polished final presentations. Every slide should have a clear message, logical flow, and visual clarity that earns trust in the room.
  • Narrative Architecture:
Build the strategic arc of each engagement—sequencing findings, framing tradeoffs, and structuring recommendations so that the story drives action rather than just reporting findings.
  • Executive Communication:
Translate complex analysis into crisp, jargon‑free language suited for C‑suite audiences. Adapt tone, depth, and format to the room—whether a board readout, a working session, or a written memo.
  • Content Standards:
Uphold and advance Thresh’s standards for visual and written quality across all client‑facing materials. Serve as a craft‑oriented contributor who raises the bar for every deliverable that leaves the team.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 2–4+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a strategy‑focused advisory role.
  • Structured Thinking:
Proven ability to frame ambiguous problems, apply strategic frameworks, and develop well‑reasoned, data‑backed recommendations.
  • Exceptional Deck

    Skills:

Advanced PowerPoint proficiency with a portfolio instinct—you understand slide logic, visual hierarchy, and what it takes to make a complex argument land cleanly on a single page.
  • AI Native:
Experience using modern AI tools to accelerate research, synthesize information, and sharpen strategic outputs.
  • Written Communication:
Crisp, precise writing that distills complex ideas into plain language—whether in a…
