The Role
Growth Product Manager to turn foundation into a daily habit for millions. Own the “Day 0 to Day 30” experience, ensuring every user who discovers Counsel doesn’t just “try” it, but realizes it is the only way they want to manage their health. Build the Product‑Led Growth (PLG) engine, turning the product itself into our most powerful distribution and retention channel.
Whatyou’ll do
Engineer the “Aha!” Moment: obsess over time‑to‑value. Design the path that makes our value undeniable, whether it’s getting a user to sync their first record or interact with a doctor.
Master Mindshare & Presence: define what “presence” looks like for Counsel. Through notification strategies, mobile app adoption, and habit‑forming triggers, drive users to return to Counsel as their first instinct for any care issue.
Build the PLG Engine: own the “front door” of Counsel: sign‑out experience, landing pages, and onboarding flow as a core product that converts curiosity into high‑intent usage.
Industry Agnostic: you don’t need prior health‑tech experience; we care that you’ve grown a consumer product at scale.
Maximize Utility: ship incremental but essential features—doctor matching, record summaries, proactive health alerts—that turn Counsel from a one‑off tool into a daily teammate.
Partner with D2C Growth: work in a high‑velocity pod alongside our D2C Growth Marketer, building product loops that keep traffic stuck.
You have 4+ years of experience in consumer growth.
Lead discovery and experimentation to identify and prioritize the most impactful features and opportunities.
Deep customer intuition and product taste, combining design empathy with a rigorous, data‑informed approach to measuring impact.
Ability to own your work in a fast‑paced, rapid growth environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to an ever‑changing landscape.
Will roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make your product successful.
Work cross‑functionally with engineering, design, clinicians, and GTM to define, build, and deploy experiences that delight users.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Doing growth at an early‑stage startup during its primary scaling phase.
Direct experience working with LLM‑powered products.
Prior work collaborating with D2C growth marketing teams or being a growth marketer yourself.
Experience in consumer products in regulated spaces (Fintech, Edtech, or healthcare).
Impact: be at the forefront of AI‑augmented care delivery, tackling ambitious challenges in healthcare.
Growth: professional development and leadership opportunities within a rapidly expanding tech‑enabled care delivery organization.
Exposure: gain hands‑on experience scaling a fast‑growing healthcare technology company and interact with executives at leading healthcare organizations.
