CONSULTANT – Project Manager/Tenant Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Tenant Coordinator consultant to lead a large scale development. This role requires an entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude with the ability to collaborate with others.

The objectives of the role are as follows;

• Lead, direct and coordinate the day-to-day management of all phases of retail delivery/tenant coordination projects; from planning to preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate Leasing, Design, Finance and Operations staff to synchronize all disciplines throughout all phases of individual projects as well as the master development plan.
• Meet the project vision and objectives while delivering quality on/under budget inclusive of creative means to maximize value creation.
• Must have complete understanding of the development and project delivery process as well as contracts for the projects and risk mitigation measures and ensure that the project teams are aware of them
• Develop and improve client and in-house team relationships fostering a “trusted advisor” status and provide leadership/guidance to positively influence successful achievement of all goals
• Demonstrate a high standard of persona, accountability and integrity and engage with all parties to the same high standards

The ideal candidate:

• 4-6 years of construction project management experience, preferably large scale projects.
• Airport and/or mix-use development experience is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or relevant experience.
• Proven track record of managing design consultants from design conception to project closeout.
• Strong ability to read/understand plans and specification with the ability to raise issues with design discrepancies.
• Expert in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Effective time management skills, organized, goal oriented, and the ability to work both independently and as a team player.
• Ability to challenge ideas and provide creative solutions to problems.
• Leverage relationships and experience to problem solve and execute on project deliverables.
• Strong understanding and expert ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Must have strong understanding of project scheduling and ability to forecast milestone, issues, or areas to improve durations.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, both oral and written. Collaboration with team members, leadership, and external parties is a must.
• Ability to work through uncertainty, complex issues and defend opinions in non-confrontational manner.
• Expert communication with tenants, contractors, and design consultants.
• Able to make careful decisions with confidence and accountability.
• Monitor and enforce accuracy/compliance with design approvals and feedback.
