Mo Ca Fi  has distributed over $100M in guaranteed basic income, cash assistance, emergency rental assistance, and emergency utility payments in over a dozen municipalities. We are led by a diverse team of finance, engineering, and startup professionals committed to closing America's racial wealth gap. We offer FDIC-insured bank accounts, municipal-funded disbursement cards, and financial empowerment services directly to consumers and through our public and private sector partners.

Mo Ca Fi  is looking for an experienced Product Manager who will lead the product design and integration for the Mo Ca Fi  Portal to optimize growth and drive revenue. In addition, the candidate will support the Senior Product Manager with additional product offerings.

This role reports to the Senior Product Manager. The position is hybrid in New York City; however, candidates can be based anywhere in the US. The range for this position is $90,.

Job Responsibilities
  • Execute and deliver against the Mo Ca Fi  Portal product strategy
  • Own and manage the Mo Ca Fi  Portal product roadmaps by developing long-term product vision.
  • Define product requirements, create detailed product specifications, and communicate requirements to the development team
  • Prioritize product enhancements based on customer feedback and business objectives
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization
  • Effectively communicate product vision and strategy.
  • Lead sprint planning, grooming sessions, and retrospective activities for the Mo Ca Fi  Portal product
  • Own the Portal's solutions end-to-end, including selling, onboarding, and post-boarding activities
  • Contribute to the development of product strategy by conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization for clients
  • Lead sales and operations training on the Mo Ca Fi  Portal
  • Develop a Go-to-Market plan and collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to align GTM strategy
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure successful product development and launch
  • Partner with operations to develop process maps/flows
  • Research and maintain a working knowledge of competitor products and trends
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end product solutions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/any related field or at least six years of relevant professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, product design, product development, and managing the rollout of products in payments or consumer lending (e.g., payment processing, acquiring, issuing, payment technology provider, etc.)
  • 2+ years as a Product Manager; excel at using Agile methodology-based development management software
  • Skilled in supporting QA initiatives
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and permanently based in the US
