Sr. Director, Strategy & Business Planning

Summary

The Sr. Director, Strategy & Business Planning leads the development and execution of the Hennessy business roadmap, partnering with commercial, finance and marketing teams to drive growth and profitability. This hybrid role is accountable for forecasting, pricing strategy, market prioritization and identifying growth opportunities through data-driven analysis. The role reports to the SVP of Hennessy and requires strong cross‑functional leadership to align brand and commercial objectives.

• Define and drive end‑to‑end commercial strategy, including market prioritization, portfolio mix, pricing and channel strategy.
• Lead forecasting and budgeting processes and serve as primary liaison with FP&A for financial reporting cycles.
• Develop go‑to‑market plans for innovations and limited editions, including distribution and channel activation.
• Establish, monitor and report on business and brand KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve depletions and profitability.
• Evaluate marketing program effectiveness and recommend A&P investment allocation to maximize ROI.
• Project‑manage strategic initiatives cross‑functionally and track progress against annual priorities.
• Conduct market visits and collaborate with Maison, Commercial Enablement, Market Leads and Business Intelligence teams to support execution.

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, finance, business intelligence or business planning, with exposure to brand marketing.
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to translate data into clear strategic recommendations.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Anaplan, Nielsen, Power BI or similar tools.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience in luxury or premium branded environments preferred and ability to operate autonomously in a fast‑paced setting.
