Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: New York

Fresh Clinics is scaling fast across the US, and our clinical operations infrastructure needs a builder, not a caretaker.

You'll be joining at a stage where foundational pieces are in place, and there's real room to build, enhance, and scale what's here into something more robust. This isn't a role where you inherit a finished system and maintain it. You'll be designing and strengthening it as we grow, without a playbook already written for you or a leader above you clearing the path.

Patient safety and core compliance requirements are always non‑negotiable. Beyond that baseline, this role calls for someone who brings strong judgment to what to prioritize, when, and how fast, working alongside our General Counsel and CMO to build a regulatory operating system that keeps pace with a fast‑growing business.

What you'll do

Clinical Strategy, Roadmap & Vision

  • Shape Functional Strategy for Clinical: Shapes the function's strategy by understanding the business objectives and dependencies across immediate peer teams (e.g., Product, Growth) and proactively influencing their priorities to align with the clinical roadmap.
  • Own the Portfolio

    Roadmap:

Owns the portfolio roadmap for the Clinical Operations unit, driving the annual planning process, challenging commercial assumptions, and ensuring strategic initiatives (like Good Faith Exams, complication management, and Medical Director sourcing) are adequately scoped and funded each planning cycle. This includes identifying and building the key clinical infrastructure that sustains our competitive advantage around quality and scale.

Clinical Governance & Operational Excellence

  • Build the clinical governance framework with the CMO: Partners with our CMO to establish the protocols, documentation standards, and consent processes that govern how clinical care is delivered and documented across the business. Designs the systems and processes that support operational stability and quality as we scale.
  • Stand up incident management end to end: Builds the full incident management process, from adverse event reporting and root cause analysis through remediation, so issues are caught, understood, and resolved consistently across the business.
  • Design credentialing and licensing infrastructure: Builds the systems for multi-state license tracking, supervision agreements, and re-verification cadence, so every provider is properly credentialed and compliant as we scale across states.
  • Construct the regulatory operating system with General Counsel: Partners with General Counsel and clinical leadership (e.g., CMO) to build the state requirement mapping, risk tolerance frameworks, and leadership review cadence that keep us ahead of evolving regulatory demands. Facilitates sessions with senior leadership to set our risk tolerance.

Member Clinical Experience & Quality

  • Own the Member and MD

    Experience:

Owns the Member and Medical Director clinical experience for the entire function, driving systemic enhancements in core interactions (e.g., Good Faith Exam quality, Medical Director service quality, complication service quality) and championing the “voice of the Member” in clinical decision-making.
  • Develop and Own the Team: Coaches and develops other people leaders and individual contributors within the clinical function, and is accountable for the overall performance, operational output, engagement, and capability planning for the US clinical team.
  • Capacity Planning: Leads the forecasting, capacity planning, and operational modelling for Clinical roles in the function (NP/MD hiring, resourcing, and rostering) and is responsible for implementing major structural changes to process or tooling to unlock efficiency at scale.
We'd love you to have

You must have

  • Builder Mindset: You've stood up clinical or compliance infrastructure where limited systems and processes exist today, building the framework and the path forward without waiting for someone to hand you structure. You bring a strong track record of designing and implementing major structural changes to process or tooling that unlocks organizational efficiency and scale.
  • Senior Leadership

    Experience:

Proven experience in a Senior Manager or…
