Job Overview
Reporting to the Director, Strategy and Corporate Development, the Associate will help manage the integration work plan, drive follow‑up across teams, prepare executive updates, and ensure key commercial, operational, technology, legal, and client‑facing work streams stay on track. As integration milestones are completed, the role will transition into a broader Strategy & Operations position supporting business management, organic growth initiatives, corporate development activities, cross‑functional strategic execution, and other high‑priority initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities- Integration Leadership: Support the day‑to‑day execution of the integration of the newly acquired index business into TMX Vetta Fi and TMX Group, keeping key commercial, operational, technology, legal, finance, and client‑facing work streams organized and moving forward.
- Project Management: Act as the central project manager for the integration process, building and maintaining integration work plans, tracking key milestones, monitoring dependencies, and ensuring timely execution across business units (technology, operations, legal, sales).
- Business Operations: Support initiatives tied to revenue growth, client retention, pricing, pipeline discipline, sales process improvement, product commercialization, and management reporting.
- Strategic Support: Act as a resource to the Director of Strategy & Corporate Development, supporting broader business management, corporate development initiatives, and strategic execution as needed.
- Cross‑Functional Coordination: Navigate effectively across the organization without direct line authority to drive alignment, resolve roadblocks, and foster collaboration between legacy Vetta Fi teams, the TMX parent organization, and the newly acquired business.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare dashboards, status updates, leadership materials, and presentations for the TMX Vetta Fi President and senior leadership team, summarizing progress, key risks, decisions needed, and next steps clearly.
- 2‑3 years of professional experience, ideally within a top‑tier management consulting firm or a corporate strategy group.
- Exceptional capability to facilitate complex meetings, manage senior stakeholders, and build consensus across different corporate cultures.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, excellent follow‑through, and proven ability to manage multifaceted projects.
- Self‑starter who thrives in a high‑growth, fast‑paced environment and possesses a “get‑it‑done” mentality.
- Skilled at drafting executive‑level communications, including slide writing and progress reporting.
BA/BS degree.
Location & Work StyleHybrid (2‑3 days in the office per week), based in New York City, NY.
Compensation$120,000–$135,000per year, USD. Salary range is a guideline; actual compensation may vary.
