This role is part of Roku’s Inventory Optimization team, which owns the processes and analytics to maximize the value of Roku’s ad platform. The position focuses on programmatic revenue and works closely with Client Services, Business Development, Sales, and Product to drive yield optimization, forecasting, and system development.
OverviewAs an Analyst you will apply strong analytical skills and excellent communication to balance day‑to‑day responsibilities with long‑term strategic projects in a fast‑paced environment. The role reports to the Sr Manager, Inventory Enablement and Optimization and is based in New York.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Roku’s programmatic ad ecosystem and partners, and suggest integration updates to increase yield.
- Analyze the programmatic stack from bid level to impressions, examining spend patterns and ensuring healthy yield from each partner.
- Facilitate troubleshooting by identifying and utilizing reports that quickly surface issues.
- Leverage Roku’s Big Data to produce actionable reporting, automating routine analysis where possible.
- Work with Product Management to develop proprietary tools addressing inventory management challenges across direct and programmatic transactions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Ad Operations, and Finance to align programmatic strategies with broader business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs for programmatic campaigns, providing regular updates and actionable recommendations.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through dashboards, presentations, and ad‑hoc reports.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive developments to identify growth opportunities.
- 4+ years of experience in digital advertising, inventory, revenue operations, data analytics, finance, or business analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Familiarity with ad‑tech terminology and the landscape, including DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, and DMPs; experience with OTT/CTVa is a plus.
- Advanced Excel, SQL, and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience creating reports with data‑visualization platforms like Tableau or Looker.
- Strong analytical, project‑management, and detail‑oriented mindset.
- Self‑starter comfortable working autonomously in a fast‑paced, growing environment.
Estimated annual salary (NYC only): $140,000 – $150,000. Compensation includes health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
