Content & Research Manager – Metals & Mining

Role Summary

Fact Set is building deeper coverage in the Metals & Mining sector. We are looking for a Content/Research Manager to lead product and content development, research, and thought leadership.

• Develop and produce products and analyses for Fact Set’s mining user base, focusing on assigned sub‑sectors and focus metals.
• Oversee content and product management for the Metals & Mining team, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and roadmap.
• Lead idea generation, research, and thought‑leadership content across Metals & Mining and coordinate with cross‑sector teams.
• Conduct research and analysis, build quantitative models that demonstrate the value of Fact Set’s content.
• Publish timely and relevant articles and insights tying industry developments into Fact Set’s product suite.
• Engage with high‑value clients, share research, and gather feedback to improve offerings.
• Work with matrixed teams and build relationships with senior leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree; a mining engineering or geology degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the Metals & Mining industry and capital markets.
• Experience in product and content development and management.
• Strong quantitative aptitude and understanding of economic and financial statement analysis.
• Strong understanding of client workflows and Fact Set client types.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, planning, and project‑management skills.
• Exceptional collaboration, organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail‑oriented with ability to see the big picture and deliver products with urgency.
• Self‑starter capable of working with minimal direction.
