Summary
The Manager, Commercial Strategy & Effectiveness translates business priorities and data-driven insights into actionable strategies to improve sales, channel performance, and distributor partnerships. This role builds reporting and analytical frameworks, drives adoption of commercial data products, and supports Route-to-Market optimization. The position is hybrid, based in the NYC office.
Responsibilities- Develop channel-specific sales strategies and activation tools for brands across channels and segments.
- Establish and monitor business and brand KPIs; prepare strategic presentations for senior management and partners.
- Analyze Route-to-Market models and sales route performance to identify efficiency and coverage improvements.
- Design and deliver commercial performance dashboards, narratives, and data products to support decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, Commercial Education, BI, and distributor stakeholders to operationalize data assets.
- Monitor market intelligence and identify growth and profit pool opportunities to inform resource allocation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial strategy, business analysis, business intelligence, or business planning with a focus on RTM and sales effectiveness.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Working knowledge of analytics, data visualization, and AI-enabled capabilities; ability to design elasticity, ROI, optimization, and segmentation analyses.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate data-driven recommendations clearly.
