Job Purpose:Responsible for operations at the visitation center while leading the visitation administrator to deliver exceptional quality service for facility staff and Family & Friends. Responsibilities include opening/closing the visitation center, powering up, testing, basic troubleshooting of equipment, maintenance,and cleanliness of the building while minimizing cost.
- Communicate with customers and associates to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensures contract requirements are met.
- Leads team to meet and exceed company objectives.
- Ensures associates are meeting expectations by setting goals and objectives.
- Hires and develops direct reports.
- Scheduling oftheteam to ensure proper coverage.
- Approves time sheets, time off requests, and expense reports.
- Ensures the technical performance of their team(s) utilizing training courses, etc.
- Responsible for planning and implementation of the budget
- Analyzes and reduces operating costs.
- Responsible for video visitation access for facility staff
- Ensure operational readiness and performance for all systems (Security/Avaya Phones/SVV/Securus Workstations/BSO Workstations as required)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Self-Starter with strong work ethic, excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Demonstrates proficient understanding of customer service needs and works to improve the operation of the visitation center.
- Microsoft Operating System experience,including, but not limited to,Outlook, Excel, & Word.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where problem resolution times are measured in hours.
- Must exhibit all the company’s cultural attributes.
- Customer Relationship and Account Management Skills
- Employee Development and Performance Management Skills
- Computing and Business Tools experience (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Etc.)
- Knowledge of computer hardware & telephony
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree inarelated field of study or equivalent experience
- 2+years of supervisor experience in a customer-facing environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
