Position: PMO (Project Management Office) Analyst (Investment Banking)
Location: New York

Responsibility:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support reporting across projects and programs, including TDO-managed initiatives and broader Global portfolio reporting needs
  • Production and / or editing of rigorous weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc status reporting, including tracking of projects and work packages /milestones to be delivered
  • Support day-to-day portfolio governance activities for the company's strategic portfolio, with focus on adherence to templates, tools, procedures, change management expectations, and required project artifacts
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to drive timely reporting submissions, resolve data quality issues, and support governance review readiness
  • Coaching and mentoring for project management best practices and alignment with Mizuho Americas and Global program and project management standards and procedures
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and annual refresh of PMO standards, procedures, training materials, reporting templates, and governance tools
Requirements:
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in an enterprise PMO or providing PMO support for complicated, strategic initiatives
  • Strong business, analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with ability to organize, validate, and consolidate varied data sources to support reporting, analysis, and development of actionable insights
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality reporting materials under recurring deadlines
  • Effective stakeholder management skills including experience working across multiple functions, regions, and levels
  • Continuous process improvement mindset, including interest in using automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting quality and efficiency
  • Ability to influence and drive follow-up across teams without direct reporting authority
  • 3-5+ years work experience in Project Management, PMO, or Business Analyst capacity
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Tolerance and understanding of multicultural work environment
