Project Manager II, FICC COO

Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

The FICC COO organization is seeking a Project Manager II to support business project management, execution tracking, governance, and stakeholder coordination across Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Commodities.

The role will work across Product Management, Middle Office, Risk, Regulatory, Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and broader Markets partners to help drive delivery of key business, operational, control, and regulatory priorities.

This role is responsible for supporting assigned projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, milestone tracking, execution coordination, reporting, issue resolution, and delivery follow-through. The successful candidate will bring structure to complex cross-functional work, facilitate communication across teams, and help ensure project goals, timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes are clearly understood and actively managed.

• Support the planning, execution, administration, and delivery of assigned business projects across FX, IRD, and Commodities.
• Manage project activities across the project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, requirements coordination, design support, implementation tracking, and delivery readiness.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestone trackers, action logs, issue logs, risk registers, and dependency trackers.
• Track progress against key deliverables, timelines, milestones, budgetary considerations, and other relevant performance indicators.
• Identify execution risks, delays, or dependencies and elevate issues to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Help ensure projects are delivered with clear objectives, defined ownership, appropriate governance, and measurable outcomes.

• Coordinate project activities across internal teams and partner functions, including Product Management, Middle Office, Risk, Regulatory, Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and broader Markets stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication across functions to improve alignment, transparency, and process flow.
• Convey clear expectations of project goals, deliverables, timelines, and accountabilities.
• Support resolution of project issues by coordinating input, clarifying ownership, and driving follow-up actions.
• Help keep project teams on track against agreed priorities, schedules, and commitments.
• Support engagement with external vendors, consultants, or enterprise partners where applicable.

• Prepare project status updates, governance materials, meeting agendas, minutes, action trackers and senior management reporting.
• Implement and maintain methods for tracking project progress, risks, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and performance indicators.
• Create reporting that provides clear visibility into project health, open issues, required decisions, and upcoming milestones.
• Support recurring FICC COO governance forums, project working groups, business reviews, and stakeholder updates.
• Maintain a consolidated view of key initiatives across FX, IRD, and Commodities to support transparency and prioritization.
• Identify themes, gaps, and areas requiring management attention.

• Support cross-FICC initiatives that improve business processes, strengthen controls, enhance operating models, or address regulatory and risk-related priorities.
• Help identify opportunities to standardize project governance, reporting, templates, and operating routines across asset classes.
• Coordinate activities related to process improvement, workflow enhancement, control remediation, regulatory deliverables, and front-to-back operating model changes.
• Assist with documentation of business requirements, current-state processes, future-state processes, decision points, and implementation plans.
• Support project readiness activities, including stakeholder alignment, communication planning, training coordination, and adoption tracking.

• Draft and coordinate project communications, executive updates, briefing materials, talking points, and presentations.
• Translate complex business, operational, risk, or regulatory topics into clear and concise messaging for varied audiences.
• Maintain stakeholder lists, meeting cadences, and follow-up tracking across project work streams.
• Help ensure relevant teams are appropriately informed, engaged, and aligned on project objectives and delivery status.
• Support communications across the FICC COO organization and with broader Markets and enterprise stakeholders.

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Project Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Project Management.
