** Youth Build IGNITE**. We are seeking a passionate and proactive Job Developer to join our team! In this vital role, you will connect clients with meaningful employment opportunities, provide comprehensive support throughout the job placement process, and foster their long-term success. ** Principal Duties:
*** Curate a robust mix of new and recurring employer partnerships in the Construction and Health Care sector for the purpose of hiring our participants.
* Contribute actively to the Employer Engagement Committee to implement a coordinated business engagement strategy.
* Deliver workforce development instruction by planning and facilitating work readiness workshops, resume development, interview preparation, financial literacy, career exploration, and other employment readiness activities that prepare participants for successful careers.
* Maintain current knowledge of labor market trends and industry needs, particularly within the construction sector and other high-demand industries, to develop customized career pathways that promote participant self-sufficiency and long-term success.
* Provide individualized career coaching and job placement services by recruiting employment opportunities, preparing participants for employment, connecting participants to internships and job opportunities, monitoring internship progress, and collaborating with employers to support successful employment outcomes.
* Manage participant career development by conducting intake, employment, and goal assessments; developing and implementing Individualized Service Strategies (ISS); creating individualized career plans; conducting bi-weekly one-on-one coaching sessions; and preparing participants for follow-up services.
* Support participant retention and success by utilizing strengths-based case management, motivational Interviewing, regular coaching, and other evidence-based practices to address barriers, encourage persistence, and promote successful program completion and employment retention.
* Coordinate participant support services by collaborating with counselors, CHLDC staff, community organizations, and referral partners to connect participants with supportive services, internships, professional networks, and other resources necessary for success.
* Lead and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences to coordinate employment, education, youth development, and supportive services while ensuring participants receive comprehensive and individualized support.
* Monitor participant progress by maintaining regular communication, providing timely feedback, tracking participant portfolios and career milestones, maintaining detailed case notes, updating databases, and meeting all reporting requirements for funders and agency leadership.
* Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive learning environment by promoting participant safety, developing safety plans when necessary, encouraging mutual respect, and helping participants overcome barriers to educational and vocational success.
* Participate in agency initiatives, committees, professional development, and community engagement activities, demonstrating a commitment to leadership development, community building, and continuous program improvement.
* Maintain compliance with agency policies, contractual obligations, safety standards, and reporting requirements, while performing other duties as assigned.
