Location: West Nyack
Senior Environmental Leader
Our client is a publicly traded global manufacturer serving the nutrition, specialty ingredients, and industrial products markets. With manufacturing facilities across North America and Europe, they are seeking a senior environmental leader to oversee environmental compliance and strategy across their global operations.
Responsibilities- Lead environmental compliance across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Develop and implement corporate environmental policies and programs.
- Oversee permitting, regulatory reporting, audits, and agency inspections.
- Drive environmental incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Legal to reduce environmental risk.
- Lead environmental metrics, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company-wide compliance.
- 12+ years of environmental leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites in a corporate or regional role.
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, permitting, compliance, and environmental auditing.
- Background in chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing industries preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree/certifications preferred).
- $180,000-$200,000 base salary
- 20%+ annual bonus
