About the role

AWS Specialist Technology Team (STT) seeks a Senior Manager of Product Management – Tech to lead the product management function for STT. The portfolio spans AI‑powered internal tools and over 20 customer‑facing products that accelerate AWS service adoption. The role sets a cohesive product vision, drives cross‑functional alignment, and represents the portfolio in executive reviews.

• Set and drive a cohesive product vision and multi‑year strategy across the entire portfolio while remaining hands‑on at the individual product level.
• Build, manage, and develop a high‑performing PM team—hiring, coaching, setting ambitious goals, and fostering a culture of customer obsession and operational excellence.
• Guide product direction across internal tool workflows and customer‑facing products.
• Drive cross‑organizational alignment with engineering, science, design, GTM, and field leadership—resolving dependencies and ensuring seamless consumption.
• Establish outcome‑oriented metrics and accountability frameworks for impact on adoption, productivity, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
• Represent the product portfolio to senior leadership, articulating vision, progress, risks, and trade‑offs.

• 8+ years of technology product work from ideation through launch.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and trade‑offs of a product.

• Experience delivering technology products or services in a high‑growth environment.
• Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services for large enterprises or partners.
• Experience with cloud native technologies.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Deep experience with AI/ML technologies and agentic systems.

• Base salary range by location (e.g., NY: $219,100 – $296,500; TX: $199,200 – $269,500; VA: $199,200 – $269,500; WA: $199,200 – $269,500).
