The People’s Forum is a space dedicated to advancing the struggles of the poor and dispossessed. Utilizing popular and political education and fostering people’s culture, TPF seeks to develop the next generation of visionaries and leaders.
The People’s Forum is located in midtown Manhattan (Lenapehoking) and opened in September 2018.
Position Summary:
This is a Part-Time non-exempt position that reports directly to the Organizing Director.
Responsibilities:
- Manage logistics of fulfilling and shipping online orders at 1804 Books;
- Track and maintain inventory of books and merchandise;
- Coordinate bulk wholesale orders from partnering bookstores;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a salary in the range of $20-25/hr commensurate with experience. This position is expected to require 20–29 hours in-person at The People’s Forum facility per week. We provide excellent benefits including a 401(k) savings option, and safe and sick time off. Additionally, our employees have full access to events and classes hosted at The People’s Forum.
