As Business Operations Manager, you will help shape how The Little Apple operates, grows, and connects with its community.
Responsibilities include:
Drive enrollment and family engagement by managing inquiries and waitlists, conducting center tours, supporting prospective families, and creating a welcoming experience from first contact through enrollment.
Support center marketing and outreach efforts , including community engagement, events, enrollment initiatives, and opportunities to build awareness of The Little Apple among City employees and other key audiences.
Serve as a key point of contact for families and center stakeholders , building strong relationships and ensuring timely, thoughtful communication.
Help build and maintain strong center operations , developing systems and processes that keep the center organized, responsive, and running smoothly.
Manage licensing, accreditation, and program documentation , ensuring records are complete, accurate, organized, and up to date.
Oversee key administrative and financial processes , including tuition tracking, petty cash, center records, and office management systems.
Coordinate center purchasing and inventory , ensuring classrooms and shared spaces have the supplies, materials, and snacks they need.
Partner with Human Resources on staffing and recruitment , including personnel documentation, candidate coordination, onboarding, and other center staffing needs.
Coordinate and maintain UPK records and documentation , working with center and company leadership to meet program requirements.
Support the successful launch and continued growth of The Little Apple , jumping in where needed and identifying opportunities to improve the experience for children, families, staff, and partners.
Bring an ownership mindset to the role , taking initiative, solving problems, and treating the center’s success as your own.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Candidate must have at least two years experience as an administrative assistant
Excellent oral and written English language skills
Strong computer, organizational and customer service skills.
Knowledge of Early Childhood Education a plus.
