Staff Product Manager, New Business

• Own the end-to-end user journey for CNN Underscored
• Lead the end-to-end experience and user lifecycle of Underscored
• Conduct continuous qualitative and quantitative research to identify friction points
• Partner closely with Design, UX Research, Engineering, and Editorial leads
• Define core performance metrics balancing business goals with user utility
• Generate product briefs, user stories, and documentation to drive alignment
• Lead the execution of an MVP and evolve it iteratively based on user and business needs

• 8+ years of consumer-facing product management experience
• Experience leading complex and ambiguous customer problems in shopping, commerce, decision-making or loyalty
• Demonstrated experience of taking a product or major business line through the full lifecycle
• Deep expertise in user research, persona development, and Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) frameworks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with stakeholders
• Experience with editorial partners and curiosity about content, formats, and storytelling

Demonstrates expertise in managing the end-to-end user journey and lifecycle for consumer-facing products, with a strong focus on user research, performance metrics, and iterative product development. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive product alignment and execution.
