Campus Undergraduate Summer Internship Program – Project Management

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in project management across various initiatives
• Analyze data and propose growth opportunities to improve business performance and operations
• Build and track performance indicators to understand customer behavior
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners
• Share and leverage best practices and provide consultancy to the team
• Manage end-to-end processes

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program focused on Business, Project Management, Operations Management, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree candidates expected to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy; strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Ability to navigate the organization and processes independently
• Project management skills, including handling multiple requests and prioritizing accordingly
• Relationship-building skills and ability to work as part of a larger team
• Ability to support projects outside the immediate scope
• Presentation skills, including creating presentation materials and presenting to peers and senior leaders
• Aptitude with Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros
• Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States; visa sponsorship will not be pursued
• Preferred: passion for marketing, product management, payments innovation, travel and dining industries, and new technology trends
• Preferred: ability to conceptualize and sell ideas
