Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a highly strategic, business-minded leader to serve as Director, US Firm Operations & Strategy, a pivotal role supporting the firm's Co-US Managing Partners.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the center of leadership, operations, and strategy - helping guide the direction of the U.S. business during a transformative period for the firm. As a trusted advisor and operational partner, you will drive key initiatives, solve complex business challenges, and ensure execution of the firm's most important priorities.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, finance, management, and leadership, offering visibility across the firm and the opportunity to help shape our future.
What You’ll Do- Partner directly with the Co-US Managing Partners to advance strategic priorities and business objectives.
- Lead high-impact initiatives that span practices, offices, and business services functions.
- Provide insights and recommendations that inform executive decision-making.
- Monitor operational and financial performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and drive action.
- Translate strategy into execution by coordinating complex projects and holding stakeholders accountable for results.
- Develop executive communications, presentations, and briefings for senior leadership audiences.
- Serve as a key connector across firm leadership, facilitating alignment, collaboration, and effective decision-making.
- Support transformational initiatives, organizational change efforts, and integration activities across the U.S. business.
- Direct partnership with the firm's senior-most U.S. leaders.
- A front-row seat to the management and strategy of a leading global law firm.
- Meaningful influence on business decisions, firm operations, and strategic direction.

- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business operations, executive leadership support, consulting, professional services management, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration, or a related discipline with JD or MBA preferred.
- Exceptional business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and drive results through influence and collaboration.
Executive presence and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders. - Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Sound judgment, discretion, interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate sensitive and confidential matters.
- Experience in a law firm, professional services organization, consulting environment, or similarly complex business setting is highly desirable.

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, accrued paid time off plan starting at 20 days annually, personal medical and parental leave, up to 10 paid holidays, and family care benefits. San Francisco Bay Area compensation range: $215,370 to $387,810 annually
Illinois compensation range: $178,080 - $320,660 annually
Los Angeles compensation range: $196,500 to $353,830 annually
San Diego compensation range: $194,010 to $349,350 annually
New York compensation range: $195,790 to $352,550 annually
Washington State compensation range: $177,990 - $320,500 annually
Washington D.C. compensation range: $192,230 - $346,140 annually
