Location: New York

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to drive technology-enabled initiatives across its Private Equity platform, with a focus on Credit and Insurance strategies. The ideal candidate combines private equity or finance knowledge with a strong technical and product mindset, operating as a hands‑on leader in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology and data projects that support investment, portfolio monitoring, and risk management for Credit and Insurance businesses.
  • Translate strategic objectives from deal teams, underwriting, portfolio management, and operations into detailed project plans, requirements, and execution roadmaps.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams (engineering, data, operations, finance, and third‑party vendors) to deliver high‑impact solutions on time and within scope, leveraging tools such as JIRA, Sigma, and Excel for planning, tracking, and analysis.
  • Design and refine workflows, dashboards, and reporting that provide actionable insights into fund performance, credit risk, insurance metrics, and operational KPIs.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior investment professionals, helping them frame problems, prioritize use cases, and evaluate technology trade‑offs with clear, practical judgment.
  • Define and track project success metrics, ensuring stakeholder alignment, user adoption, and continuous improvement based on data and feedback.
  • Proactively identify process gaps and automation opportunities across investment operations, pipeline management, policy administration, and portfolio analytics, and drive pragmatic solutions from concept through implementation.
  • Produce clear documentation (business requirements, process flows, runbooks, SOPs) and support training and change management for users across the client.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and issues with a bias toward action, escalation when appropriate, and common‑sense decision‑making.
Candidate Profile:
  • 5–10 years of experience in fintech (Private Credit a plus) in roles such as technical project manager, program manager, product manager, or senior business analyst.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts relevant to private credit and insurance, and how they translate into data, systems, and processes.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, cross‑functional projects in a high‑expectation environment, ideally at a top‑tier financial institution, PE firm, or leading technology organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels, moving seamlessly from executive discussions to hands‑on project execution.
  • Self‑starter and go‑getter who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and drives outcomes without heavy supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders and translate technical details into business language.
Skills and Tools:
  • Proficiency with JIRA (or similar tools) for backlog management, sprint planning, project tracking, and status reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis, portfolio modeling, and KPI tracking.
  • Solid understanding of data architectures, APIs, and integration patterns, and comfort collaborating closely with engineering and data teams on solution design.
  • Strong understanding of modern system architectures, including cloud‑native platforms, microservices, service‑oriented architecture, data pipelines, event‑driven integrations, and enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Experience partnering with technology teams on API design, system integrations, data model reviews, technical requirements, solution architecture discussions, and end‑to‑end delivery across upstream and downstream platforms.
  • Familiarity with software delivery practices, including Agile delivery, SDLC governance, Dev Ops concepts, release planning, testing coordination, environment management, and production implementation readiness.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Sigma, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms to design and manage dashboards and self‑service analytics for investment and insurance stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with credit products,…
