Why This Role Matters

Christie’s Ventures launched in 2022 as the Corporate Venture arm of Christie’s, investing in early stage and visionary founders building at the intersection of art and technology. We invest across four core areas — Digital Assets, AI, Fin Tech and Hardware. In January 2026, Ventures expanded its scope to include Innovation Labs to focus on innovation and incubation of emergent technologies at Christie's.

The Department Coordinator will assist the Ventures and Innovation Labs team through comprehensive administrative support and project coordination, as outlined below.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Serve as the central coordinator for the Christie's Ventures & Innovation Labs team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across investment, incubation, platform, and innovation initiatives.
  • Coordinate team meetings, leadership reviews, offsites, and strategic planning sessions, including agenda preparation, note-taking, and action-item tracking.
  • Maintain department documentation, organizational charts, contact databases, project trackers, and operational procedures.
  • Support budget tracking, invoice processing, vendor onboarding, and expense reconciliation.
  • Assist with the coordination of venture investment processes.
  • Support preparation of investment committee materials, presentations and leadership updates.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies across multiple work streams.
  • Support planning and execution of department events, including Innovation Labs Demo Days, CES activations, and other projects.
  • Draft and distribute internal communications, meeting summaries, presentations, and department updates.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies, startups, market trends, and innovation opportunities as needed.
Art+Tech Summit
  • Manage event logistics including invitations, speaker coordination, guest lists, venue communication, travel arrangements, and attendee experience.
  • Coordinate communications with startups, founders, advisors, sponsors, strategic partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with post-event reporting, feedback collection, and tracking of engagement metrics.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated with superiors, clients and peers.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communication.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple groups and sites.
  • Ability to creatively problem solves.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Outlook.
