What the role looks likeWe are seeking a Resident Account Representative to join our Accounting team.
This role provides resident support and manages lease administration, including move-ins, move-outs, renewals, security deposit processing, and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring accurate records, timely communication, and excellent customer service throughout the resident lifecycle.
What you will do- Provide a high level of customer service to our residents via email ticketing system and timely telephone interaction with polite resolution; regular and timely communication updates are required through to closure.
- Perform daily lease administration functions to process move-ins, move-outs and renewals on a timely basis into the operating system with accuracy, completeness and timelines
- Execute vacates within the 14-day regulatory timeframe; all move-out charges properly applied against the security deposit with remaining refund generated and issued via EFT or check
- Process required banking information for creation of or withdrawal of security deposit funds at the tenant level during the move-in and move-out cycle, respectively, with reconciliation of data between the bank and the operating systems
- Assist with certain accounts receivable activities, including verification letters, billing and payment discrepancies, and processing of returned checks

- Basic understanding (2+ years) in tenant Accounts Receivable.
- A proven track record of delivering results is required.
- General comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.);
- Working knowledge of real estate operating systems, in particular MRI
- A strong analytical ability to collect and interpret information to solve complex problems, including tenant ledgers adjustments
- Prior customer service experience essential to manage multiple customer needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fanatical discipline and relentless desire to do what needs to be done.
- A love for doing what others won’t and solving very difficult problems.
- A desire to grow and take on ever increasing responsibility.
- A flexible schedule, as occasional overtime will be required.
- Doing any, or all of that, in a multi-family environment would be good too.
Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $24.00
