About Ghost Eye

Most security programs tell companies whether they appear compliant. Ghost Eye tells them whether they can withstand a real attack.

We’re building the always-on red team for modern enterprises. Ghost Eye emulates the attacks adversaries use today, including help-desk vishing, deepfaked executives, MFA fatigue, and the technical payloads that follow. We identify what is actually exploitable, help customers close the gaps, and retest until the fixes hold.

Our founder previously led red-team work at Black Rock and conducted offensive cyber operations ’re bringing that experience to one of cybersecurity’s hardest problems: helping organizations continuously test their defenses against the attacks they actually face.

The opportunity

As our first Chief of Staff, you’ll work directly with the CEO to increase the speed and quality of the decisions Ghost Eye makes and ensure those decisions become results.

You’ll take ownership of the company’s most consequential priorities across go-to-market, operations, fundraising, and hiring. You won’t simply coordinate these initiatives. You’ll be expected to understand the problem, form a point of view, and drive the work through completion.

This is a high-context, high-autonomy role for someone who wants broad exposure, real accountability, and the opportunity to help shape how Ghost Eye is built.

What you’ll own
  • Turn the CEO’s highest-priority initiatives into clear plans, owners, deadlines, and results.
  • Help build Ghost Eye’s go-to-market engine through customer research, pipeline management, sales operations, follow-ups, and launch planning.
  • Run the company’s operating cadence, including goal setting, leadership meetings, decision tracking, and follow-through.
  • Prepare board materials, investor updates, fundraising collateral, company metrics, and the data room.
  • Drive recruiting and onboarding for key hires, from defining the role through closing and onboarding the candidate.
  • Build lightweight systems across finance, vendors, internal communications, and company operations.
  • Step into important problems that do not yet have a clear owner or playbook.
What success looks like
By Day 30
  • Develop a strong understanding of Ghost Eye’s product, customers, go-to-market motion, and company priorities.
  • Take ownership of the weekly operating cadence, including priorities, decisions, action items, and follow-through.
  • Identify one high-impact company initiative to lead.
By Day 60
  • Independently manage core workflows across company operations, go-to-market, investor reporting, or recruiting.
  • Turn at least one unclear or inefficient process into a simple, repeatable system.
  • Build enough context and trust to anticipate what the CEO and company will need next.
By Day 90
  • Deliver a measurable result on a company-level priority.
  • Demonstrate that important projects can move forward with minimal oversight.
  • Become a trusted operator who brings clarity to ambiguity, keeps the team aligned, and ensures critical work gets finished.
What we’re looking for
  • You have unusually high agency. When you see an important problem, you take responsibility for solving it.
  • You are an exceptional written and verbal communicator who can make complex ideas clear and actionable.
  • You can bring structure to ambiguity, make sound assumptions, and keep moving without perfect information.
  • You manage multiple work streams without losing track of details or commitments.
  • You have strong judgment and handle confidential information with care.
  • You are comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
  • You are curious, low ego, and willing to learn whatever the work requires.
  • You want to be accountable for outcomes, not simply complete assigned tasks.

There is no minimum number of years required. We are open to exceptional recent graduates as well as experienced operators. We care most about evidence of ownership, judgment, communication, and learning speed. That evidence can come from work, internships, research, student organizations, side projects, or something you built yourself.

Nice to have
  • Interest in cybersecurity, offensive security, AI, or enterprise software.
  • Experience working directly with customers or supporting an enterprise sales process.
  • Experience in a startup, consulting, investment banking, venture capital, operations, or strategy role.
  • Experience preparing board materials, fundraising collateral, or investor reporting.
  • Comfort with spreadsheets, CRMs, analytics tools, and Figma.
