Product Distribution Manager - Wear & Shoes

Summary

The New Product Distribution Manager for Ready To Wear & Shoes will oversee the launch, distribution, and flow of new product across the Americas, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to maximize sales and support the Maison’s retail objectives. This role partners with Merchandising, Logistics, and Retail to translate merchandising priorities into precise allocation and distribution plans. The manager will apply analytical rigor to monitor launch performance and drive process improvements to optimize distribution workflows.

• Lead distribution strategies for new product launches across RTW and Shoes in the Americas.
• Execute complex allocation strategies within systems for seasonal collections and high-demand product to ensure precision and timeliness.
• Manage launch calendars and timelines to ensure smooth delivery to stores and clients.
• Monitor post-launch sales, stock coverage, and replenishment needs to optimize sell-through.
• Generate reports and analyses on launch performance to identify successes and opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Logistics, and Retail to ensure cohesive, 360-degree launches and store/event support.
• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to streamline distribution workflows.
• Maintain agility to respond to last-minute adjustments, event demands, and ad hoc projects.

• 5+ years of experience in distribution, allocation, or supply chain, preferably in luxury or fashion.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL; experience with Python is a significant plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex product flows and prioritizing competing demands.
• Ability to work on site four days per week at the Louis Vuitton corporate office in Midtown Manhattan.
