nycha’s asset & capital management (a&cm) division leads the authority’s capital, sustainability and resiliency programs that comprise a $6 billion capital projects portfolio – one of the largest in ny state – as well as a range of activities related to property modernization and strategic asset management. A&cm aims to preserve and modernize nycha buildings and apartments through strategic portfolio planning, comprehensive design standards, innovative financing and project delivery models, strong partnership with nycha residents and other stakeholders, and effective program and project management of capital investments.

project & operational excellence is looking to hire a p&oe operations manager. The p&oe operations manager will provide strategic support to the head of project operations & excellence (p&oe) in executing departmental priorities and advancing operational excellence initiatives across a&cm. The position will help drive organizational effectiveness, project delivery improvement, project controls governance, pmis strategy, business process transformation, and performance management initiatives.

• assist the head of p&oe in developing and executing a cohesive strategy to enhance the effectiveness of project controls, pmis/e-builder, business process improvement, performance reporting, and operational excellence functions.
• lead and coordinate strategic initiatives aimed at improving project delivery, data utilization, technology integration, process standardization, and service delivery across a&cm.
• support development and implementation of project controls frameworks, pmis governance, performance management programs, and business process improvement initiatives.
• serve as a liaison between p&oe and business units across a&cm, facilitating cross-functional coordination and helping resolve operational challenges impacting capital project delivery.
• lead special projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of the head of p&oe, including organizational improvement efforts, executive reporting initiatives, and implementation of new business practices and technologies.
• analyze portfolio performance, operational data, and organizational metrics to support executive decision-making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• prepare executive-level reports, presentations, recommendations, and briefing materials for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• represent the head of p&oe in meetings, working groups, and strategic initiatives as assigned.
