POSITON SUMMARYFacilities Project Management is seeking a candidate to perform various project coordination and project management support functions, including coordination, oversight, monitoring project status and deliverables, and identifying project risks.
RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate project activities during construction and closeout in support of large public infrastructure projects.
- Monitor project status, deliverables, and outstanding actions to support schedules and resolve issues.
- Identify project issues and risks, including impacts to daily operations, and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
- Support inspections, walkthroughs, and field reviews during construction and closeout.
- Perform site observations, as required, to monitor construction activities and confirm that temporary barriers, signage, and customer walkways are safe and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, station operations staff (GSMs), maintenance groups, and other stakeholders to address field conditions and project-related concerns.
- Track and follow up on corrective actions identified during inspections and site observations until resolved.
- Process and coordinate required project approvals, such as operational access requests, inspection requests, and work authorization forms (e.g., GSM placards).
- Maintain project documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and up-to-date records.
- Ensure project activities follow established organizational requirements, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Support project closeout activities, including documentation and follow-up on outstanding items.
