As a Business Operations Intern of the NAM OM&U Business Operations Organization, you will be an active contributor to the Services Turnaround and the Customer Management transformation.
Job Responsibilities
- Operational Support & Data Management
- Provide direct support to Customer Performance Directors to ensure operational consistency and high-quality reporting.
- Maintain and improve data management systems to ensure accuracy, transparency, and accessibility of key performance metrics.
- Develop and streamline reporting templates to provide leadership with actionable insights regarding customer outcomes.
- Support the development and maintenance of operational dashboards to track project health and contract performance.
- Standard Work & Process Optimization
- Partner with the Customer Performance team to define and implement standard work protocols.
- Establish and document standard operating procedures to ensure uniform execution across the organization.
- Support the Customer Performance transformation roadmap by identifying areas for process simplification and waste reduction.
- Assist in the rollout of new processes, ensuring team alignment and adherence to established standard work.
- Customer Performance & Communication
- Act as a key operational resource for the Customer Performance Management organization.
- Facilitate the collection and aggregation of performance data for recurring customer report-outs.
- Help maintain operational rhythms, ensuring that key performance reviews are scheduled, prepared for, and documented effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that operational processes support the overarching goals of the Customer Performance organization.
Basic Qualifications
- Students must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program from an accredited university.
- Eligible Majors:
Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management / Logistics, Business Administration, Project Management, or related. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and data visualization tools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a matrixed team environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage data, generate reports, and improve administrative or operational processes
- Experience in operations, data management, project coordination, or a related support role
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the power, energy, or industrial services industry.
- Familiarity with Lean methodologies, continuous improvement, or process mapping.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on attention to detail and data integrity.
- Project management experience or certification
The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
