THE ROLE
I am an independent NY-based choreographer creating expressionist contemporary image-theater dance works. I am seeking a highly proactive, self-directed Creative Producer and Artist Manager to take the wheel on the logistical, developmental, and pitching side of my career.
I am ideally looking to work with a strategic partner who has administrative knowledge and experience and can take initiative to identify opportunities, build tracking systems, and independently execute pitches.

THE DETAILSHours:
4–8 hours per week to start (flexible)
Compensation: $20–$25/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES- Opportunity Generation:
Identify, track, and manage deadlines for grants, commissions, residencies, and awards. Draft and edit grant applications. - Targeted Outreach & Pitching:
Research appropriate contacts at presenting organizations, foundations, and universities, and execute targeted cold-pitching and follow-ups. - APAP Strategy:
Lead preparation for APAP, including researching presenters, managing outreach, and organizing pitch materials. - Alternative Development:
Actively explore and pitch cross-disciplinary opportunities, including independent film networks, theater, corporate partnerships, and higher education. - 2027 Premiere:
Serve as a producing sounding board and administrative lead for my upcoming 2027 performance premiere. - Systems Management:
Manage Google Workspace, update/optimize the Wix website, create Canva pitch decks, and maintain organized project budgets and Google Drive folders.
Self-starter and project manager. Proven experience in independent producing, arts administration, or artist management. Knowledge of the performing-arts funding, commissioning, presenting, or touring landscape. Experience ong writer. Tech fluent with Google Workspace and familiar with Canva and Wix.
