Administrative Sales & Demand Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Sales, Demand, Order Support Analyst to support the Sales organization. This is an administrative and analytical role focused on maintaining data accuracy, managing reports, and supporting cross-functional teams with sales, demand, inventory, and order-related information.

The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel, enjoys working with larger datasets and spreadsheets, and has experience supporting sales forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, or order management functions within a product-based environment. This role is less about building financial models or creating complex reports and more about managing existing data, extracting information from systems, and distributing accurate reports to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Sales team by managing and maintaining sales, demand, inventory, and order-related data.
• Extract information from internal systems and existing reports to prepare and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports.
• Maintain large Excel spreadsheets while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Perform high-volume data entry, data validation, and data management activities.
• Assist with sales forecasting and demand planning processes by updating and maintaining forecast information.
• Support inventory and order management activities by tracking product movement, shipments, and customer demand.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Research discrepancies, identify data inconsistencies, and resolve issues through collaboration with internal teams.
• Monitor product, SKU, order, and shipment information to support business operations.
• Assist with various administrative projects and reporting requests as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a sales support, sales operations, demand planning, inventory management, supply chain, customer service, or analytical administrative role.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including:

  • XLOOKUP
• Strong analytical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience managing large spreadsheets and working with high volumes of data.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable extracting data from ERP or business systems and working with existing reports.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting sales forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, or order management.
• Experience working in a product-based environment involving products, SKUs, orders, shipments, and inventory.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms is a plus.
