Toll International LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Economic & Transportation Specialist to support economic, demographic, and transportation research and quantitative analysis for a major public transportation agency in New York City.
This is a specialized economics and transportation position. Candidates must have at least 3 years of professional experience in economics, transportation, statistics, econometrics, or a closely related field.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of professional experience in economics, transportation, statistics, econometrics, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline;
Master’s degree strongly preferred. - Demonstrated experience conducting quantitative, statistical, and qualitative analyses, preferably within the transportation or infrastructure sector.
- Knowledge of statistics and/or econometrics.
- Experience analyzing economic, demographic, and transportation trends.
- Experience working with large or complex datasets.
- Proficiency with Excel and Power BI.
- Experience with analytical tools such as Python, R, EViews, Stata, or similar platforms.
- Strong research, technical writing, and presentation skills.
The selected professional will support:
- Economic, demographic, and transportation research.
- Identification and analysis of trends affecting transportation and infrastructure programs.
- Economic and statistical analysis using public datasets including Census, USDOT, BLS, FRED, and similar sources.
- Economic-impact, transportation-activity, benefit-cost, and econometric analyses.
- Market and industry research.
- Monitoring and interpreting economic releases.
- Literature reviews and technical research.
- Preparation of concise reports, presentations, and recommendations for decision-makers.
- Organization, analysis, and visualization of complex datasets using Excel, Power BI, database queries, and statistical tools.
Location: World Trade Center, New York City
Work arrangement: Hybrid — 4 days per week onsite
Compensation: Approximately $104,000–$112,320 annualized
, depending on qualifications and experience.
Security: Candidate must be able to obtain the required SWAC identification/security clearance.
